Northamptonshire charity provides a fresh perspective to helping children and families cope with trauma.

The charity Kids Aid began in 2007 and is based at St James End's Doddridge Centre. They provide a range of therapy options for young children and families who have had experience with trauma.
Corporate Partnerships & Marketing Manager Steph Curry is made responsible for securing financial aid from businesses "Who want to fundraise and support us as their charity of the year"
"We work in partnerships with other companies to generate income for our charity"
"The marketing side is to promote Kids Aid, to raise awareness and raise our profile, which includes press releases to publiciser the charity".
The Kids Aid team realised the lack of proper care there was out there towards children suffering with trauma "It was established by a group of professionals who came to realise what little provision there was out there for children and families that have been through trauma"
"We are the only charity in the whole of Northamptonshire and surrounding areas that offer long-term therapies for children and families".
The charity provides a range of therapies for children, including (but not limited to) movement therapies, artistic therapies and workshops.
The charity aims to improve the wellbeing of each child and family with their long term strategy, usually between 6 - 12 months.
