Popular St. James pub Foundryman's Arms changed owners, with the keys being handed over on Monday.

The drinking establishment, founded in 1864, had been owned by Northampton-based pub company McManus for the past 40 years.

But the keys were handed over on November 27th to pub ownership group Valiant, which was founded in 2021.

The Foundryman's Arms is a part of Valiant's first major expansion, which saw them buy 17 pubs from S.A. Brain.

Former owners McManus still own other Northampton pubs, like Thomas 'A' Becket, where the now former Foundryman's Arm team will be based.
