St James Retail Park Riverside Walk is a slight hidden walkway which is surrounded by beautiful scenes.

If you fancy a nice stroll by the river, this is a place you should consider visiting!

The walk takes you through an array of different scenery which makes the experience that much nicer.

On this trail, there is a blue bridge, if you walk over this and continue to follow the path which goes straight up the field, it will take you to Far Cotton.

This may make it easier to get to the area if needed plus it is also more of a scenic route if that is something that you are searching for.

For the first section of the trail, you can fish in the waters, but once you cross the bridge there is a sign which prohibits fishing in that area.

There is a second bridge on the field, this will take you further into the trail which you can eventually get to Storton Pits.

While the walk is very lovely, but be careful if you go after it has rained because once you leave the main concrete footpath and cross over the field, the floor can become quite muddy and slippery which makes the terrain difficult to walk through. This may be more difficult if you are using any type of mobility aid or if you have a pushchair.

There are also some thin, muddy paths you can walk through, but once again it can be difficult to if you have a mobility aid or pushchair.

Nevertheless, the walk is beautiful and calming, and during the summertime it will be even more inviting!
