St James Snacks: Square One Cafe Review

Upon walking into Square One cafe on St James Road, the first thing I noticed was how quiet it was. In fact we were the only people in the cafe throughout our entire visit there, which was for about half an hour. 

The cafe offers a large variety of food and drink, from full English breakfasts to burgers, and milkshakes to smoothies, you definitely aren't short for choice on what to order. 

We opted for smoothies when we were there, which were more of a fruit juice than a smoothie, due to the thin consistency of the drink, compared to smoothies which you would usually expect to be a lot thicker. They were however freshly made, and tasted incredible. 

The cafe itself was very pleasant, with many places to sit, and various Christmas decorations scattered around. There only appeared to be one member of staff there at the time, who was very friendly and wished us a good day before we left.

With reviews on google saying, “delicious food and coffee. Lovely, friendly staff and excellent service”, why not support your local independent cafes and pay Square One a visit for a meal or even just a cup of coffee.
